Sleeping well is a necessity for staying healthy. You can still take as many good means to increase your vitality as you like, but if you don't have an invigorating sleep, you'll never be able to stay healthy. Some electromagnetic fields have been proven to affect sleep quality.

The negative effect of the cordless phone.
The DECT phone or the cordless phone, with possibly different units, appears to have a negative effect on our sleep. In fact, these devices are transmitters. It's about devices that have to be plugged in, not the classic, 'old-fashioned' house phones on a wire. These transmitters transmit their frequencies continuously - from the moment they are plugged in - in a zone with a radius of twenty, thirty meters or more. If there is such a transmitter in the house, you have telephone coverage throughout the house, even in the garden.

So what's wrong with these devices?
These transmitters usually operate on a modulation of 100 Hz; this means that they emit a basic frequency at 100 times per second. All this only serves to transport the telephone signal that may come in in the thirty-meter zone around the base unit. This frequency-transmission system is transmitted continuously, day and night, from the moment that it is connected to the electricity grid. So also at night. And it is precisely then that problems can arise. Why are we particularly affected by these frequencies at night? We produce a very weak electromagnetic field around our body that protects us. This field fluctuates, becomes stronger and weaker, depending on the time of day. Our body field becomes much smaller at night. Apparently this is related to sleeping itself and is a normal physiological phenomenon. So at night we defend ourselves less strongly. And so we are more vulnerable. As long as you are 'strong', you can 'compensate' for this and you will be able to absorb and neutralize these influences. Our body is always neurtalising and correcting.

Hooray! The old-fashioned home phone!
If you are burdened with this influence every night, it can have a negative effect on your sleep. Ideally, the old-fashioned home phone with wire can be restored to its former glory. You can still find it in a second-hand shop... Another solution is to place a timer on the socket of the DECT phone. Then you can have the phone automatically switch off at 10 p.m. for example, and switch it back on at 7 a.m. This way you don't have to think about it anymore, or if you don't forget to connect the phone back to it, you have to have pulled it out manually.
